Frequently Asked Questions
Because community built Utopia from the beginning, and we wanted the next chapter of growth to be built together with the people who believe in it.
We are looking for recipes connected to real memories, traditions, cultures, and personal experiences — the kind of dishes that remind people of home, family gatherings, and meaningful moments.
The crowdfunding campaign will support the next stage of Utopia’s growth and development.
It will help us strengthen the business model and operational systems, develop the Utopia Community Menu concept, and prepare Utopia for future expansion and franchising across London and eventually the UK.
Our goal is to build a more organised and sustainable business while continuing to grow around food, culture, human connection, and shared experiences.
Because for us, food has always been connected to people, memories, and the feeling of home. Some of the most meaningful dishes come from family kitchens, mums’ recipes, and traditions shared across generations.
We believe people never truly get bored of recipes connected to family, culture, and personal memories because they carry emotional meaning and real experiences behind them.
Through the Utopia Community Menu, we hope to introduce flavours and recipes people may not easily find elsewhere, while creating a community space around traditional food, culture, and shared experiences that can create a real sense of belonging.
The name Utopia was inspired by Plato’s idea of an ideal society and the belief that even in a difficult and non-utopian world, people still search for connection, warmth, and a sense of belonging.
For us, Utopia is not about perfection. It is about creating spaces where people from different cultures and backgrounds can come together through food, stories, and shared experiences.
